In March I was in NY, and at a visit to PS1 I had a vision. I don't know where it came from, but it was the desire to have an exhibit in a large pristine space, with huge white walls. On the walks in hand-painted sans-serif photography would be phrases in capitals like WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME I HAD LIPSTICK ON MY TEETH and other banal phrases we don't hear the resonance in.
There are so many things that we (and in particular, I) are so strange and un-profound that in their inherent blandness they are almost eerie. I like these phrases and document them as much as possible. Perhaps one day that exhibit will come - stay tuned. For now, I've made some Art Prints, T-shirts, and even a cool coffee mug as a 'to-do'. All in the shop - enjoy!
